Out the three i have celebrated, this had to be my very best father’s day ever.
I really don’t remember the others, but that’s maybe what prompted me to write about this one.

What made it so special was going on an evening walk with my 2 and a half year old daughter, and just laughing and having a good time. Coming home with her on my shoulders, explaining all kinds of things, and just hearing her laugh… i realized how much i love being a dad, and how often i forget how much i love it.

I didn’t get any phone calls today. That is amazing for me.

We spent the evening at my parents house eating steak, celebrating Lori’s 30th birthday, and my parents safe arrival from Hawaii.

We listened to Paul McCartney’s new album.

My brother and i both got my Dad a CD from starbucks. Clayton bought him the Blues CD. We coordinated it.

we are hoping to get a paper newsletter done soon. We have really needed to get printed material sent out for awhile now, and it shows.

I have such excited thoughts about this next semester… more Elements coming soon on that.

I’m tired. I have been working a lot. Doing frantic graphic, video, and web work. I wouldn’t have thought i would be here 5 years ago.

well… as some of you know we recently had to fix our whole entire bathroom due to water damage (something home owners insurance does not cover) not only did it take us over 7 months to complete and one credit card bill later we finally got it finished only to find out that our bathroom was probably never leaking in the first place or at least it may have been leaking but wasn’t the cause of the extreme water damage no it was acutally the drain in our kitchen sink that was leaking. So it will take less then an hour to fix that pipe. However our so called new and improved bathroom is once again damaged with water and our brand new cabinet is now junk all water soaked moldy and spoiled and we will have to replace two walls once again. Err………. there’s a rthyme and a reason to all this I am sure. Maybe today is just my mood I’ve known about this for three days now and today I am frustered the day it happened I said oh well we will fix it.

I guess this is what being a home owner is. … you learn to fix a problem only to learn to fix another.

Well I must tend to a fussy baby I think David’s top teeth are coming in. Plus he’s in a playpen and he would much rather be free to roam and get into things he really shouldn’t
